Our Farm

We have been breeding Arabians at Black Tie for nearly 20 years and take pride in providing modern, safe, client-friendly, professional facilities. We are located at the geographic center of Northern California's dynamic Arabian horse industry. We do business honestly and enjoy having old-fashioned fun with our horses, our clients and our friends.

We feature a 36-stall double breezeway barn, two hot water wash racks, restroom with shower, office lounge, washer/dryer, round pen and fully enclosed 18,000 square foot indoor riding arena with professional quality footing.

The breeding operation includes a six-stall mare foaling barn, 10-stall covered mare motel, breeding phantom and stallion collection services.

We are 10 minutes from the renowned U.C. Davis Veterinary School and Hospital and provide high-quality, on-site veterinary services.

The ranch also features several turnout pastures and miles of riding trails through the charming and peaceful surrounding farmland.

We at Black Tie do our best to specialize in country hospitality. There's always a cold drink and a comfortable chair for drop-ins. If you hit us a the right time, you might even find an extra serving of the best tri-tip and barbecue beans north of Santa Ynez and west of San Angelo. Come Visit.
